Trunk Club Review

I’m really excited to share my Trunk Club with you guys. For those of you who don’t know Trunk Club is a Nordstrom company where you'll be able to discover great clothes that are perfect for you without ever having to go shopping. Trunk Club will assign you a stylist and they work with you to give you different pieces for your wardrobe that you are looking for. Trunk Club combines top brands, expert service, and unparalleled convenience to deliver a highly personalized experience that helps you look and feel your best.

My stylist is great and works with me to figure out some full outfits and as a busy mom this saves me ALOT of time and its so great to be able to get all of the outfits shipped straight to my door so I can try it all on in the comfort of my home! This time around a specified that I was primarily looking for tops for my upcoming 30th birthday as well as some cute casual looks.

This first outfit consisted of a super soft pair of Hudson Jeans paired along with a beautiful Lucky Brand peasant top. I am extremely picky when it comes to jeans and as you all know shopping for jeans is not a fun task. But these are a TOTAL win. They do come along with a hefty price tag but the quality is definitely there so for me these would be a great investment piece. The Lucky Brand blouse is also a great quality and fit me well through the top and was more relaxed in the waist area making it perfect for a half tuck in the front.

The next top I tried on was a floral blouse by 1.Slate in a really pretty plum (it also comes in a basic black floral). This is a total winner for me!! It has a ruffle sleeve which is the perfect detail. The fashion sleeve gives you the ability to show off bracelets that you wear which I love. This is also a top that you can wear from season to season and a total must have for my closet. 

This purple sweater by Halogen was Nick’s favorite of all the tops I got sent. It is super soft and comfy but also has a sexy criss cross open back showing off the perfect amount of skin for a great date night look.

I was also sent a emerald green top by Hinge which was a nice dress shirt to be able to wear to work but definitely fit a little bit tight through the shoulders. The button detail down the front is also a really great touch to this top. I just don’t know how versatile it is and if I would wear it as much as the other tops. This shirt also comes in a ton of other colors and patterns so maybe I'll reorder in another pattern if I need something like this down the line.

Next up my stylist also threw in two more casual tops to wear to school pick ups or just for running errands. One was a sweatshirt by Spiritual Gangster which I LOVE and is soooo perfect to wear to Penelope’s Valentines day party at school. It is super soft with heart detail and the saying “Give Love” on the wrists.  I prefer for my sweatshirts to be a bit oversized and this ran a bit small so I’ll be exchanging for the larger size. I couldn't find the exact one on the site but heres the link to another super cute Spiritual Gangster sweatshirt to wear for a great casual Valentines day look. She also sent over a plain grey V-neck sweatshirt from Lou and Grey (I couldn't find the exact one on the Nordstrom site so I linked a similar one - this one looks WAY softer too!) which I like but the neck line is just not my style. Its just a bit too structured for a casual piece IMO. 

I also got three accessories in this box one being Ray-Bans that I have been eyeing for MONTHS now! These are so perfect for all year round. The tortoise color works great with my hair color and I love the aviator shape. I also got a super simple yet sparkly pair of pink Kendra Scott earrings that go so perfect with the Lucky Brand blouse. Last but absolutely not least were these Jeffrey Campbell over the knee boots. They are an absolute must have for every wardrobe. They are the perfect height, great neutral color and most important, super comfortable.  

This trunk was a total win for me! I got a lot of great staple pieces in my wardrobe to get me through the rest of winter as well as move into spring! If you are a busy mom, young professional or just don’t like shopping all that much you should totally give Trunk Club a try! They make getting looks extremely convenient and easy!
